Before you buy used
- Count the clubs: 5-PW is six irons, 4-PW is seven. Check none is missing or swapped from another set.
- Look at the grooves and the face of the 7 iron and PW, the most-used clubs, for heavy wear.
- Check every shaft is the same model and flex. Mixed shafts usually mean a club was replaced.
- Ask whether lengths or lie angles were custom fitted. Non-standard specs suit some golfers and not others.
